张朝民，中共党员，工学博士，教授、硕士生导师，1966年1月出生，籍贯安徽阜阳，毕业于上海大学材料物理专业。现任上海工程技术大学材料学院党委书记。

主讲过的课程有：大学物理、大学物理实验、电磁学、电动力学、电磁场等课程。研究方向为光学材料与器件、电池性能。发表学术论文60多篇，其中被SCI及EI检索论文38篇。主持和参与国家自然科学基金项目、上海市自然科学项目、中央支持地方高水平建设项目等各类项目12项，项目总经费达800多万元。获得国家发明专利授权2項，实用新型专利5项，出版教材5部。曾任上海市物理学会会员，现兼任中国内燃机学会新材料与表面技术分会理事。
