On November 9, the activity "Enterprise Experts into the Classroom" of the School of Mathematics, Physics and Statistics invited Xiao Xuegang, General Manager of Shanghai Sales Center of Daheng Optoelectronics, to give a lecture to the students of 23rd grade majoring in Optoelectronic Information Science and Engineering.
General Manager Xiao Xuegang shared from four aspects: "light" in life, opportunities and trends of optoelectronic major, development of optoelectronic enterprises and career planning. He also took his own career experience as an example and shared his life experience with the students in a humorous and interesting language.
Prof. Zhang Xiuli, in charge of the major, and Mr. Xiao also interacted with the students. The students expressed that they should combine theoretical knowledge with practical training, and focus on improving their personal practical ability and vocational skills. The activity "Enterprise Experts into the Classroom" is the School's exploration of the industry-teaching integration, to realize the seamless connection between the students' practical training and enterprises, and to build a win-win situation between universities and enterprises.
