The School undertakes the teaching tasks of mathematics and science platform courses, basic courses and specialized courses for both graduate and undergraduate students of the university. It has constructed more than 10 university-level undergraduate courses such as Advanced Mathematics and university-level graduate courses such as Mathematical Statistics and Engineering Applications. The School attaches importance to the improvement of students' comprehensive quality, actively carries out second classroom activities, and organizes students to participate in the China Graduate Student Mathematical Modeling Competition, National University Student Mathematical Modeling Competition, National University Student Higher Mathematics Competition, National University Student Market Research and Analysis Competition, and the University Student Physics Competition in some parts of the country (Shanghai Region), etc., which have achieved excellent results. In particular, since 2017, our graduate students have won 10 first prizes, 200 second prizes and 365 third prizes of China Graduate Student Mathematical Modeling Competition, which is in the forefront of all universities in China. It also organizes the Zhengda Cup 13th National University Students' Market Research and Analysis Competition (Graduate Students Group) and other disciplinary competitions.
