The Department of University Physics has 13 faculty members, including 1 professor, 4 associate professors. There are 6 teachers as Master Supervisors and the proportion of master and doctor degree reaches 100%. Our faculty members graduated from key universities or research institutes in China. To enhance internationalization, we have maintained close cooperation and academic exchanges with overseas universities in physics and information science, such as the University of Pittsburgh in the United States and the Asia-Pacific Center for Theoretical Physics in Korea. All teachers of the department devote themselves to the teaching task for undergraduates, including common basic courses in physics, professional foundation courses for undergraduate and postgraduate majors, scientific research, and so on. The department has academic expertise in theoretical physics, condensed matter physics, optics, quantum physics, and other major disciplines of physics.
