On November 26th, the School of Mathematics, Physics and Statistics held the second ASIIN Certification promotion meeting for the major of Data Computation and Applications. All the participants reviewed the relevant work progress of professional ASIIN certification, and had an in-depth discussion on the future certification plan.
The core topic of the meeting was the preparation of the materials attached to the follow-up ASIIN certification self-assessment report. The holding of this meeting marked a solid step for the School of Mathematics, Physics and Statistics in promoting the construction of "first-class major". The School has clarified the goal and schedule of ASIIN certification for undergraduate majors, and is committed to building the major of Data Computation and Applications to enhance the influence and competitiveness of the major at home and abroad.
