Wang Guoqiang was born in August 1977, Shandong Heze. He is a member of the CPC, Doctor of Science, Professor, Master Supervisor. He graduated from Shanghai University, majoring in Operational Research and Cybernetics. Mainly engaged in the Optimization Theory, Algorithm and Applications, High-Dimensional Statistical Inference and Statistical Optimization. He is in charge of 1 general project of the National Natural Science Foundation of China. He has presided over and completed a number of projects, including the general project of NSFC, the youth project of NSFC, the special fund of China Postdoctoral Science Foundation, the general project of China Postdoctoral Science Foundation, the project of Shanghai Natural Science Foundation and the Scientific Research Foundation for the Returned Overseas Chinese Scholars. He has published 1 monograph and more than 30 SCI papers in the field of optimization such as JOTA, JOGO and OMS. He has gained honorary titles such as the Shanghai Yucai Award, the School Outstanding Educator and the School Outstanding Young Teacher. He is serves as a member of mathematical planning branch of China Operations Research Society, a member of financial engineering and financial risk management branch of China Operations Research Society, a member of China Business Statistics Society, a permanent member of Shanghai Operations Research Society and a reviewer of American《Mathematics Review》.
