Guanglong Chen, male, associate professor, was born in Anhui province on Oct. 10 1971. He works in Shanghai University ofEngineering Science as a supervisor of postgraduates and teaches “UniversityPhysics”. He was awarded as the university-rated outstanding teacher in 2012.He received his Master’s degree of Optics from Department of Physics, EastChina Normal University in 2005, and received his PhD degree from ShanghaiInstitute of Optics and Fine Mechanics, Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2008.From July 2008 to July 2009 he worked as a postdoctoral researcher in PohangUniversity of Science and Technology. In 2009, he joined School of fundamentalstudies, Shanghai University of Engineering Science.
Guanglong Chen focus on studies of theinteraction of femtosecond intense laser pulses with clusters, the cluster sizein supersonic cluster jet under high gas backing pressure, and the plasmawaveguide from the interaction of cluster jet with femtosecond laser pulse withhigh intensity. Up to now he worked as the first author and published 12peer-reviewed journal papers, which are SCI-indexed, such as J. Appl. Phys, J.Phys. B and Opt. Commun. Now he is responsible for a scientific researchproject by Natural Science Foundation of Shanghai.
Xinxin Zhao, male, associate professor, wasborn in Zhejiang province on Nov. 8, 1981. He received his Bachelor's degreeand Master’s degree of physics from Department of Physics, Zhejiang Universityin 2003 and 2006 respectively. He took a job to be a teaching assistant inFundamental Studies of School, SUES from May 2006 , a lecturer from Jan. 2009 and an AssociateProfessor from Jan. 2014. His research field focus on catalyst of ammoniasynthesis, cathode of Li ionic battery, electrode of Li-air battery andSpintronics. The works are centered on exploring the influence of surface(interface) interactions and electronic structures of single crystal surfacesand heterostructures on energy storage, catalytic activity and performance ofelectric devices , and applying fundamental understanding of mechanisms todesign new materials based on density functional theory.
