On the morning of November 21st, the School of Mathematics, Physics and Statistics and Professor Wang Song of Curtin University held a seminar on the discipline construction. Zhou Xiaozhou, Deputy Director of the International Office, Wang Guoqiang, Dean of the School, Zheng Zhongtuan, Vice Dean of the School, and Jiang Kaizhong, Director of the Department of Applied Statistics, participated in the seminar, and discussed the discipline construction of the undergraduate and postgraduate programs of the School, as well as the joint program of the training of students.

Assoc. Prof. Zheng Zhongtuan and Assoc. Prof. Jiang Kaizhong introduced the enrollment and cultivation plan of the undergraduate major of Data Computation and Application and the master's degree program of the first-level discipline of Statistics of the School, respectively. Prof. Wang Song gave guiding opinions on the discipline construction and the cultivation plan. Both sides also exchanged ideas on the joint program on the training of students.
