On the afternoon of November 10, graduate students of Statistics of the School of Mathematics, Physics and Statistics, led by Jiang Kaizhong, the Director of the Department of Applied Statistics and Wu Zhongcheng, the Secretary of the Second Party Branch of the faculty, visited the Big Data Artificial Intelligence Industry Cluster of the G60 S&T Innovation Valley of the Yangtze River Delta for a study tour.

Through the visit of enterprises, students not only broadened their horizons and gained an in-depth understanding of the strategic significance of the G60 S&T Innovation Valley of the Yangtze River Delta, but also fully understand the application scenarios of  statistics and further strengthened their confidence in their majors. This study tour has built a learning and practice platform for students, and enhanced the communication between the universities and enterprises, promoting the cultivation of applied and comprehensive talents in the university.
