On November 12, 2022, with the guidance and help of the university's Academic Affairs Office, the School of Mathematics, Physics and Statistics successfully held the "1+X" Big Data Application Development (Python) Vocational Skill Level (Intermediate) exam for the first time. 30 students from the majors of Data Computing and Applications in Grade 2019, Grade 2020 and Grade 2021 took the exam. Jin Xiaoyi, Vice Director of the Academic Affairs Office, Wang Guoqiang, Dean of the School of Mathematics, Physics and Statistics, and Wu Jianbao, Vice Dean of the School came to the exam site to inspect the students' the situation.
After intense answering, 30 examinees successfully completed the theoretical part and practical operation part of the examination within the prescribed time. It shows the solid theoretical knowledge reserve, skilled operation skills and good professional quality of students majoring in data calculation and application. The first "1+X" Big Data Application Development (Python) Vocational Skill Level examination was successfully completed.
This is the first examination of "1+X" certificate examination center settled in the university, which effectively promotes the construction of the major “Data Calculation and Applications” of the school of Mathematics, Physics and Statistics, and is also an important work in the construction of the university's high-quality education system.
