The campus life of the students majoring in Opto-electronic information Science and Engineering of the School of Mathematics, Physics and Statistics has been disrupted by the sudden epidemic. In order to help students better overcome the impact of the epidemic, complete online learning and improve their professional and career development ability, the academic tutors constantly strengthen students' awareness of self-management, academic arrangement and career planning.

On May 8th, the first sharing activity was successfully held through Tencent conference platform. The sharing meeting was hosted by Ye Ke, vice monitor of opto-electronic Information Science and Engineering major. Wang Zunyu and Hu Haiyang, who are currently in the first year of master's degree in our school, were invited to share their experience in the postgraduate examination. The students responded warmly, saying that they deepened their understanding of their major and began to prepare for the academic planning of postgraduate entrance examination. Prof. Zhang Xiuli, Director of Opto-electronic Physics Department, hoped the students take every course seriously and lay a solid foundation for future study. Prof. Qin Liguo, Director of College Physics Department, encouraged students to improve their personal abilities through competition and academic activities.
