Zihou Zhang was born in ShouxianCounty,Anhui Province, China in August, 1956. Zihou Zhang , with a Doctor ofSciencedegree, is a Professor of Mathematics and the Dean of the School ofFundamentalStudies, Shanghai University of Engineering Science, Shanghai,China. Inaddition, he is also a commentator of the American journalMathematicalReviews.
The courses he teaches include:AdvancedMathematics, Linear Algebra, Linear Programming, Probability andStatistics,Complex Variable Function and Discrete Mathematics. His researchesfocus on thetheory and applications of Banach space, optimization theory andquantitativeanalysis of social security. He has made a series of creativeachievementswithin the fields of approximation theory, nonlinear analysis andpublished upto 62 papers on top international journals at home and abroad suchas J.Approx. Theory, Nonlinear Analysis among which 15 papers have been indexedbySCI and EI, 22 by top Chinese journals and 6 by international journals. Associate Professor Li Lu’s fields of researchcovercontrol theory & applications and intelligent computing. Hongyan Li, Female, born in September1970.Yingchen City, Hubei province, received her Master’s degree, and graduatedfromdepartment of Mathematic, Wuhan University. She is an associate ProfessorofDepartment of Mathematics Teaching, Foundation College, Shanghai UniversityofEngineering Science. Xi Hu, female, born in November 1973,fromLoudi, Hunan Province, received the Ph.D. degree in Operational ResearchandControl Theory from Shanghai University in 2007. The courses she teaches include higher mathematics,linear algebra,probability and statistics, and her current research interestsare mainly incomplex network and the application of random theory in thecommunicationnetwork. She published more than ten articles since 2007, amongwhich there are4 articles have been indexed by SCI or EI and 3 core periodicalarticles. Chunyan Liu received the B.S. degree inMathematicsfrom Suzhou Railway Normal University, Suzhou, China in 1989 andPh.D. degreemajoring in functional analysis under the supervision of Prof.Zhongrui Shifrom Shanghai University, Shanghai, China in 2011. Jun Shen is a lecturer of mathematics intheSchool of Fundamental Studies at Shanghai University of EngineeringScience(SUES).
He received his Ph. D. from ShanghaiJiaotong University, under the supervision ofProfessor Hao Shen. He joined SUESin 2007 and teaches undergraduate classeslike Calculus, Linear Algebra,Probability, Statistics, etc.
He is interested in computationalandalgebraic methods for determining the structure and existence ofcombinatorialdesigns, as well as in applications of combinatorial designs tocomputerscience and information theory.
Suichao Wu , male, born on February,1982,Qingdao, Shandong Province, is an associate Professor, Doctor of Science,nowdeputy director of mathematics department of general course education school of Shanghai UniversityofEngineering Science. He was once elected as the ‘11th OutstandingYoungInstructor of School'. His study area is Lie Algebra and itsrepresentationtheory, which has obtained relatively systematic achievements. Hehasaccomplished 6 dissertations published on issues home and abroad such asActaMathematica Scientia and Acta Mathematica Sinica, including 4 on corejournaland 1 on foreign periodical. From November 2008 to May 2009, July 2010toDecember 2011, she was a Research Fellow in the Department of Electrical&Computer Engineering, National University of Singapore, Singapore. Weiqin Yu received the B.S degree inAppliedMathematics from Yangzhou University, Yangzhou, China in 2004 and Ph.D.degreein General and Fundamental Mechanics from Nanjing University ofAeronautics andAstronautics, Nanjing, China in 2010. Zhongcheng Wu received his Ph.DinMathematics from Shanghai University. Guoqiang Wang received his MS degree andPhDdegree in Operations Research and Cybernetics under the supervision ofProf.Yanqin Bai from Shanghai University in 2005 and 2009, respectively. He is a currently a Professor in CollegeofFundamental Studies at Shanghai University of Engineering Science. Duringtheyear 2010-2012 he was a post-doctor of Department of Mathematics atShanghaiNormal University under the supervision of Prof. Detong Zhu. He hadbeen aResearch Fellow of Department of Mathematics and Statistics atCurtinUniversity under the supervision of Prof. Kok Lay Teo.
His current research interests are mainlyininterior-point methods for symmetric optimization and symmetricconecomplementarity problem, and their applications. His research workwassupported by National Natural Science Foundation of China (No. 11001169),andChina Postdoctoral Science Foundation funded project (Nos.2012T50427,20100480604). He has published nearly 30 SCI index papers includedJOGO, JOTA,OMS, etc. and 1 scholarly monograph (2014.08). He is the winner oftheOutstanding Achievements (Dissertation) of Graduate Students in Shanghai in2010and the outstanding Young Teachers of Shanghai University of EngineeringSciencein 2010. Yu Zhou received his MS degree andPhDdegree majored in functional analysis under the supervision of Prof.LixinCheng from Xiamen University in 2009 and 2012, respectively. Hiscurrentresearch interests are geometric properties of Banach spaces, isometrictheoryof Banach spaces, and approximation theory. He has published nearly 10papers.He served as the reviewer of Mathematical Reviews.
Li Yiyang, male, was born in October 1979 in Gaomi, Shandong Province and is a lecturer and Doctor of Science. He is now a lecturer of Mathematics in Shanghai University of Engineering Science and he teaches courses of Advanced Mathematics, Linear Algebra, Probability, and Mathematical Statistics. His study area is Lie Algebra and its representation theory, and his research has made some achievements.
