On Nov 25th, the School of Mathematics, Physics and Statistics and the School of Mathematical Sciences of Sunway University launched an online promotion exchange on joint PhD programme and joint laboratory projects.

Prof. Wang introduced the student who participated in the joint PhD programme in 2024, and had an in-depth exchange and discussion with Professor Teo Kok Lay on the scholarship application process, graduation conditions, and the supplementary agreement. The two sides had an in-depth discussion on the drafting of the agreement on the "International Joint Innovation Laboratory of Data Science and Artificial Intelligence". They agreed to carry out in-depth cooperative research and project development in major fields such as biostatistics and digital intelligence medicine, financial statistics and risk management, big data analysis and machine learning, artificial intelligence and applications, optimization theory and algorithm, optimal control, intelligent computing, graph theory and application, fluid mechanics and applications.
