Zhou Jing

On November 15th, Professor Lin Haixiang from Delft Institute of Technology visited the School of Mathematics, Physics and Statistics. Prof. Wang Guoqiang, Dean of the School, teachers from the Department of Applied Statistics and some postgraduate students of Statistics exchanged ideas with each other.

Professor Lin shared a number of successful subject construction cases based on his own research and practical experience, covering many aspects such as subject positioning and curriculum setting. The teachers and students at the meeting actively participated in the discussion and exchange, sharing their views and experiences.

This exchange not only broadened the international academichorizon for the teachers and students of our School, but also further promoted the cooperation between SUES and TUDelft.
